We came to listen to the guitarist downstairs and have a few drinks. Good atmosphere, friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks! It was a nice warm and fun place to spend our evening!

Visiting Melbourne from Sydney for the Formula 1 and we were staying just up the road from the Melbourne Wine Room and discovered it by accident really. We loved it so much we went there for dinner twice and lunch once and would have kept going back had we stayed in Melbourne longer. The staff here were always smiling and so lovely and accommodating. The food was incredible as well - we sampled a lot of items from the menu and everyone in our group was overwhelmed with how brilliant the food was. The pièce de résistance was the special 500g rib eye - one of the best steaks I've had in a long time - perfect! Great selection of wine to match as well... Highly recommended and full marks once again to the wonderful staff!
