I'm sorry to see this great institution failing. The diner wasn't so clean as there was food on the floor under the tables that wasn't cleaned up from previous diners. The food came out in reasonably good time although after finding a foreign object in my burger I sent it back (1/2 eaten) with the server. He politely came back to me and told me the kitchen told him it was fat from the bacon. I questioned that as I believed it would have been more like a piece of soft bone or cartilage. He went from polite to nasty and replied to me "what do you want me to do about it". So, that's my story, not happy and unfortunately we will not be going back. Too bad, like I said, misty's was an institution of not only great food but the vibe was incredible.
This place needs a health inspection, which it will fail.Food was greasy and not nice. Seats, tables
I recently tried the basic cheeseburger for $11.90, which is the most affordable option on the menu. The burgers are visually appealing and delicious, but I thought they were a bit pricey. Most burgers cost $25, and that doesn't even include fries - you have to pay an extra $3 for sauce. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the staff are really friendly. It's definitely worth a visit.
The restaurant serves delicious food with an authentic American style and decor, featuring license plates and vinyl records decorating the diner. Each booth has a jukebox playing classic 50's and 60's music, creating a nostalgic vibe. We enjoyed a variety of dishes including chili dogs and corn dogs.
Having visited the USA in 2017, I can confidently say that Misty's Diner is a fantastic example of the finest American Diner cuisine. The service is excellent on nearly every visit, and the food quality exceeds expectations for a Diner establishment.
