Sami's Fish & Chip Shop - Glen Eira

We have been patrons of Sami's before and have always been pleased with the food. However, tonight's order was disappointing. The extra large portion of chips was not enough for two people, the calamari rings were terrible and did not taste like calamari at all. The fish was decent but my whiting was rubbery in some parts. We will not be ordering from Sami's again and do not recommend it. It was so unsatisfactory that my sons had to order pizza because they were still hungry.

This restaurant serves the best burgers in town. The fries are cooked to perfection and the potato cakes are crispy and delightful.

It doesn’t matter what you order; the food is delicious! The hamburgers are the best I have eaten in the country!!!! As for the fish and chip menu; perfect! I have never been served greasy food from here. The staff are hard working to cook...our food in a timely manner: a definite must if you are looking for food in this area.

This place is the busiest place with so many staff and it is quite entertaining while sitting and waiting for your order to observe how it all just works so smoothly....the best part is the hamburger at the end of it all....big and beautiful. I...highly recommend them. The fish and chips are great too.

I bought a souvlaki from here and the amount of meat in it was a joke...complete waste of money.the chips were ok
