The restaurant has a nice upstairs eating area which provides some privacy from those coming in for takeaway orders, and the walls were nicely decorated. The service was efficient and polite, but not as warm and friendly as others have described. I would return to Tandoori Point because of its convenient location and decent food quality. We preferred the food here compared to other local Indian restaurants, and the menu offers a wide selection. However, while there is nothing wrong with the restaurant, there is also nothing outstanding that would compel me to return if I lived further away.
This restaurant is very unassuming but the service was lovely and the food was great - so full of flavour. The chefs special was a flavour I had never tasted before - loved it.
This gem of a place is run by probably the greatest indian chef in melbourne Mr Purewal. If u crave authentic indian food look no further. Great staff. Try the tandoori platter.
I can't decide what I love most about this restaurant: the delicious lamb bhuna, the fantastic customer service, or the generous pours of wine by the glass (on the rare occasions when I don't order a full bottle).
This curry house is a hidden gem, located on Tennyson Street. It's a must-try spot.
