Glen Oak - Glen Ellyn

I have to say, the greeting was anything but warm, and the overall atmosphere was not inviting. I accidentally spilled coffee all over my table, and the staff didn’t even seem to notice. The coffee I received was poured from the bottom of the pot twice, and it tasted stale. The Eggs Benedict were overcooked to the point of being like hard-boiled eggs, and the food on the plate didn't look appetizing at all. This was my second visit, and I had the same disappointing experience. It seems like you might need to meet a specific profile to receive good service here.

I absolutely love the biscuits and gravy here. It's one of the best breakfast options you can find in the area. The Glen Oak Cafe is consistently clean, and the staff is fantastic.
