Food is disgusting. Wanted chicken karahi. They told me no chef in today to make that. So I got chicken korma instead... Absolutely no flavor...couldn't eat it. The chicken biryani was dry...will not recommend.
We ordered several dishes: chicken kababs ($2 each), chicken samosas/rolls ($2 each), fish pakoras ($14 per pound), chicken 65 ($14 for 24 oz), and chicken tikka masala ($14 for 24 oz). The kababs came with a yogurt dipping sauce. Keep in mind that you'll need to reheat everything once you get home, but overall, the flavors were enjoyable. The chicken samosas and rolls could have been spicier. I also noticed they used quite a bit of red food coloring; my fingers turned orange after eating the chicken tikka masala, almost like I had applied henna. The store was busy, but two employees promptly came over to assist us when the line got long. The staff was professional.
This restaurant offers delicious food at great prices! I highly recommend the naan, kebabs, Chicken 65, fish pakora, garlic naan, samosa chaat, and sesame naan. It's a very busy spot in Hillside, New York, but definitely worth a visit!
I don't typically write reviews, but I felt it was absolutely necessary to share my experience. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My friend and I ordered chicken biryani, and I found a metal nail in the rice. Although they offered us a replacement, I just couldn't bring myself to eat there anymore, especially since the food seemed stale. Additionally, they don't even provide water for diners, which is really disappointing. I paid for my meal out of respect, but I will definitely not be returning. I strongly recommend looking for Indian food elsewhere—this place is a hazard.
