Contribuisci feedbackWe were so excited to go here for mother's day. I've always wanted to go to a place like this. We were very disappointed. The worst part was our cook. He was boring, we were watching everyone else's cooks because ours wasn't doing anything. He got all our food wrong. Gave us food We didn't want. He literally messed everything up for us all. Especially the experience. We were very bummed especially for the extremely high price we paid for what we got for it
The food was delicious!! Highly recommend to try it out if you haven’t.
The place was nice and very busy so you know it's good. Only gripe was the two people who greeted you at the front area. When we walk in I don't usually expect a hello or anything, honestly could care less. However I was upset because we made a reservation for four and when we told this to the two front guys they kind of blew off what we said. They casually flipped through a notebook on the counter which only had scribbles in it. And told us we had to wait 20 mins still. We wanted a cooking table but couldn't because we had to wait. So it's either A the reservation system when you look up the restaurant is BS and a waste of time, or B these two hosts were just clueless.The food was great and the fish pond inside was cool. Waitress was fine it's just the two clueless dudes in the front. Honestly though looking at their interactions with other customers makes me think either they were either fill ins or this is all they can find to cover the front ?PS if you are looking for the menu prices see photos attached. Their website does not post the pricing for the dinners.
New to the area and have been trying out new sushi restaurants. This one was a disappointment. All the reviews are for the shows put on by the cooks around large tables, I get that! There was excitement for sure. We sat at a regular table for happy hour and there was nothing happy about it. Choices were few and prices, well I couldn’t quite figure out their pricing model. I always like to enjoy a glass of wine to set the mood. Most places charge 6 bucks a glass. All there wines were 11 bucks? Nigiri was so so not great quality. Calamari was the processed kind and salty. The other roll we ordered was fried which we knew, but greasy. Three people 2 drinks and 4 happy hour items came to 60 dollars? Walking up to the exterior I had a bad feeling as it looks in serious need of a facelift. Happy to see families enjoying the performances at their table which would explain why they have been in business so long because it isn’t because of the casual dining. Very unhappy and won’t be back.
This place is silly expensive for how little sushi you receive, and it's not better than any other sushi on town. Got told to sit somewhere else after being told that it didn't matter if we sat at a grill or not, just wanted to see the fancy grill chef do his thing. The only redeeming quality about this place is the pond. Great place to sit down if you want overpriced everything and to look at the cool fish. Never coming here again, personally.
