Lovely wait staff and the best chicken I have ever had. Waffles are delicious!

A Glendale staple aside from your contemporary go-to food spots in the area. They have 57 years experience cooking the best US southern style fried chicken in LA county. This place is nothing like KFC (I was born and raised in KY). Small and cozy interior, well maintained, and great service. IYKYK. I usually get the Box O’ Chicken and all the sides are top-notch. Mac’ N Cheese and biscuit are my go-to. The season of the chicken and the tenderness is unmatched. Take out or dine in with quick service. They also have fresh homemade pies. They know what they’re doing here. Very fair prices. Parking is usually abundant.

Went in today for a three piece chicken dinner, mac cheese, and mashed potatoes with gravy. And it comes with a biscuit roll. It was delicious. The chicken was super hot. The sides were great mac cheese was super cheesy. Price was good. For the times. it was right under 20 bucks nowadays that’s really good . Nowadays, you can spend that in fast food and more at least this is real food, southern style.

Absolutely fantastic, quick and graceful service too. Try the spicy chicken sandwich!!
