Japan Express - Glendale

Never going here again. First, our order was misplaced . Then when eating the food we bought I stopped because the taste was off. Surprise surprise, I got food poisoning and was up all night because of this place. Don 't go here unless you want to feel like death for 24 hours.Food: 1/5

The service at this restaurant has always been outstanding. However, I am quite disappointed with my last three orders. It seems that the teriyaki sauce has changed. On one occasion, it was so thin that the chicken didn’t even look coated. Additionally, the chicken has become more rubbery, and the last batch definitely had a strange, reheated taste. I really love this little spot and have been a loyal customer for years, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. I hope they can address these issues. We truly appreciate the quick service, and for a while, the food was consistently good, but that hasn’t been the case lately.

I used to visit this place frequently, almost every week. However, when times became tough, my visits reduced to about once a month or even every other month. I've probably eaten here or ordered takeaway more than a dozen times, but each experience has deteriorated—not just the food, but the overall atmosphere as well. Unfortunately, I don't enjoy it here anymore, so I’ve decided not to dine here again. Food rating: 4/5.

I just picked up takeout for dinner, and unfortunately, it ended up in the garbage. The food was really disappointing. I ordered teriyaki chicken, but it was tough, dry, and rubbery. The rice was also hard and dry. I asked for the broccoli to be well-cooked, but it turned out hard and dry as well. My husband got sukiyaki beef, and he typically eats anything, but he found it so unappetizing that he couldn't finish it. Overall, the food quality was very poor, and we won’t be returning.
