Each dish costs about $10 but is generous enough to feed two people. While we were there, we noticed a friendly waitress taking a vibrant bean salad with shredded chicken (also available with pork) to another table. We decided then and there to return for Round Two! The restaurant is actually a former gas station that has been stylishly converted into a full-fledged eatery, located right at the corner of Western Ave and Victory Blvd. The staff is not only warm and welcoming but also eager to share their recipes. There are seating options both outside and inside. If you visit for lunch, I recommend going either early or late, as it’s a popular spot for film and TV studio workers nearby, and tends to get quite busy during lunchtime.
