I ordered the scallops and grits while my husband chose a pasta dish that I can't quite recall the name of. The scallops were cooked to perfection—expertly seasoned and beautifully seared—paired with fresh greens that complemented the dish's richness. My only concern was the grits; while they were seasoned perfectly, I found the texture a bit grainy with some raw rice-like bits that I didn't enjoy, even though the overall flavor was good. In contrast, the pasta was flawless—rich and creamy, just as it should be. We also sampled the focaccia bread, which I initially thought came with a rather dull dipping sauce. However, it turned out to be a fantastic pairing that elevated the bread nicely—I highly recommend it. For dessert, we tried the house-made sorbetto, which had a delightful flavor, but sadly, the texture was off; it was somewhat gritty and difficult to scoop. On a brighter note, the peanut butter and coconut desserts were exceptional! I definitely recommend trying both—they are creamy, beautifully presented, and bursting with diverse flavors. Unable to choose between them, I indulged in both! **Service: 3.5/5** On my first visit, I approached the host stand unaware that walk-ins weren't accepted between 5 and 7 PM. I greeted the hostess, who glanced up, offered a brief smile, and then returned to her iPad, making me think she was looking for a table for us. My husband and I stood there for about 10 minutes while she attended to other guests. Eventually, I had to ask if she could seat us, only to learn about the walk-in policy. I felt it would have been more considerate for this information to be communicated upfront. I returned another time and encountered the same hostess, who again greeted us minimally. I had to firmly remind her that I had a reservation. However, aside from her, my server, Eric, was fantastic! He was attentive, made great recommendations, and ensured we were well taken care of. **Ambiance: 5/5** The decor of this restaurant is absolutely stunning! It has a more upscale vibe, so I recommend dressing nicely for the occasion. It’s a wonderful spot for a lovely date night.

All of our cocktails were excellent, and the wine selections were superb and reasonably priced. Overall, we had a lovely dinner experience with a great atmosphere and outstanding service.

Delicious restaurant! I visited with my boyfriend and his friends, and we had a reservation for 8:00 PM. We enjoyed sitting outside, which was lovely with the lights they have. The appetizers were a good size, and the main dishes were generously portioned as well.

If you're looking for a brunch spot in the Tampa Bay area, you should head over to Birch Vine. It's a fine dining restaurant with one of the most unique chef driven menus in Downtown St. Pete. This particular day was hot out, so we dined inside the restaurant. They have a beautiful outdoor dining space, so if the weather permits, make sure that you reserve outdoor seating to dine al fresco. ‍The service is exceptional! We arrived 20 minutes early and were seated right away. The server inquired about any food allergies and relayed the message to the chef. Both made sure that I was notified about items I couldn't eat (which was on my hubby's entree). All of the dishes were amazing! What we ordered: Green Goddess Salad (GF) Classic BV Breakfast with sunny side eggs and breakfast chicken sausage (GF) Breakfast Burger Coconut Ube Etremet Bellinis Can't wait to return to dine al fresco!

I stopped by for a nightcap at 9 PM with some friends visiting from out of town. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a rude staff member. When my friend’s wife asked for directions to the ladies' room, the staff member didn’t even look up and grumbled loudly in a vague direction without actually pointing. When she asked again, he just grumbled even louder. The staff seemed very flustered about Open Table still taking reservations, even though there were only seven tables occupied inside and four outside. Overall, the atmosphere felt quite unwelcoming and almost toxic.
