I was with the same food in Sawtelle, less a wait and more seats. I was there twice and the service was perfect. Have the tsukemen, I see that people complain how the sauce/breast was not hot I think it always served? So I never complained about whether you want to get something hot. I mean, that seems logical. If you have never tried tsukemen, it is a few ramens and for the Filipinos or those familiar with Filipino foods, the sauce/width taste like palabok/malabon sauce. It's really pretty good when you add the lime wholeumami! I made the ginger chicken perfect! It was served cold, so that not worrying, it is really good. Your regular ramen also really good... unpacked ramen! Tons of taste. Try it! Their prices are super reasonable and their taste is pretty good.
Great place for tsukemen (dipping style) ramen. They also serve regular toncatsu rays and a variety of other dishes. Very tasteful, beautiful atmosphere, friendly, attentive staff. If you spend some time in the Americana, I recommend this place.
That was my first tsukemen experience and hours later I can't stop thinking about it. I was served a huge bowl of beautiful, thick noodles with a healthy amount of chewing, just the right texture. The broth was rich, tasteful and so thick and sticky that she clinged to the noodles like no business. A wealthy experience for me. Your lunch special is $1.99 combination of rice dishes with the purchase of rugs. I tried the salmon ikura bowl, which was quite mediocre, but worth $1.99. I see a lot of critics complaining about the service, but my servers were friendly and attentive. Although I had a great experience, I agree that it is something overpriced, but then again, what is not with Americana?
Good, but doesn't compare to japan. Their noodles are a bit bland and the broth doesn't offer as much flavor as I had hoped. Also, when they give you more broth, they actually only give you hot water. You have to pour the sauce in yourself and taste until it's your preferred flavor, but it still will taste different.
I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place is because I had heard it wasn’t as good as the original Tsujita in West LA (which is still one of my fav ramen spots). I found this place to be very solid good with excellent service tasty noodles! The day we came, the air conditioner was broken and it was stifling inside, but the wait staff was gracious to move us near one of their fans. I feel bummed it’s kinda tucked into a corner of the Americana hopefully people will be able to find it easily. It’s def. a nice alternative to the food options in the area those in the area are lucky to have it! Update: 12/26/2019 Came again with the significant other. Once again, this place was tasty but there’s a short wait. Not bad though, we were seated promptly in 10 minutes and it was perfect ramen weather. I ordered the same dish. Once again the service was good with the waiting being extremely helpful cordial. Food was tasty (no seeming drop in quality from Tsujita west la). Definitely encourage u to check out this tasty ramen place in the Glendale area!
