Stopped through from Wrangell-St. Elias. Ordered 4 crepes, 1 pancake bites, 2 iced 24 oz Chai teas. I was asked to tip before ordering... choices were 18%, 25%, and something higher. I gave 18%. We waited 30+ minutes to order, and 15+ for the food. When the drinks came out, they were 3/4 ice. When the food came out, I asked about the ice, and was told that it was standard to give a full cup of ice. So $5.95 for about 8 swallows. Then my sausage and pepper crepe was made without peppers an extra charge . When I went back to ask for a fix, they were defensive it 's been really busy , which is fine, but the order receipt clearly had pepper on it. It wasn 't so much the wait, but the way we felt when it was handled. I ordered a crepe with peppers, and was questioned when I asked for a fix. The food was solid, no complaints. The sausage was yummy. The drinks were good, but with that much ice, they were very overpriced. No lactose free option but we dealt with that . However, asking for a tip beforehand and then feeling shortchanged on the drinks and the incorrect order left a sour taste in my mouth.
Great people cooked food fresh for us it was something I have never tried but awesome was like two pancakes with bacon egg and cheese. My mocha was so good it was amazing pulled up their in our big rig right to the window . I ordered my mocha we were starving because not many places to eat on the way to Anchorage and she asked if we were hungry and we ordered the sandwiches they were great and different bacon crumbles . I will be stopping their again and to cook those it didn't take but 8 minutes . Amazing place.
