Ladyjay's Seafood - Glennville

I won't go into specifics, but the experience my wife and I had was not what we had hoped for. That's the most tactful way I can express it.

The restaurant's quality rapidly fell, and it appears to have gone out of business. Our meal was so disappointing that we never went back, and now it has permanently closed.

The food lacked seasoning and salt, and it was served cold. The hushpuppies were overcooked, and the service was slow.

The fries were fried to perfection, generously sprinkled with just the right amount of seasoning. The hush puppies were a treat as well—crispy on the outside and warm, soft, and flavorful on the inside. Now, let’s talk about the desserts! The Oreo cheesecake was creamy and simply divine, adorned with drizzles of chocolate and caramel sauce and topped with two generous dollops of whipped cream. The regular cheesecake was sweet yet perfectly balanced, complemented by strawberry and melon toppings that added a burst of flavor with every bite. While I was waiting for my meal, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of LadyJay's. Her passion for the dishes they prepare from scratch made everything feel even more special! It was uplifting to hear her excitement about the future of LadyJay's and the delicious plans they have ahead. Her joy and pride, paired with the dedication of her staff, made me appreciate the love put into their food. I don’t usually write reviews like this, but I was so filled with happiness and optimism for LadyJay's that I felt the need to share my experience. When I returned home and saw everyone at the table savoring the food, smiling, and chatting about how wonderful the meal was, it truly warmed my heart. Thank you, LadyJay's! Hello everyone! If you're looking for an amazing seafood restaurant, you absolutely have to check out LadyJay's in Glennville. Both the food and customer service were exceptional. When I'm not at Mudcat Charlie's, this has now become my favorite place for seafood. Plus, my husband really enjoyed the non-seafood options on the menu too. Thank you, Chef Jeff and the whole team!
