Jasmine Asian Bistro - Glenside

This restaurant has been amazing since I was a child. It was one of the first places in the area to offer a dedicated Vegetarian/Vegan menu. The first time I visited was a life-changing experience for me. Since I moved from Philadelphia to Tennessee, I have not been able to find Chinese food of the same quality. Naturally, on the first day of my visit back home, my family and I made sure to go to Jasmine's. The General Tso's chicken is as fantastic as I remembered. The vegetable egg rolls are the best I've ever had. I highly recommend coming here. Just ask for the vegetarian menu.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. I was seated promptly and the food arrived surprisingly quickly! The dishes were delicious and reasonably priced.

This restaurant offers one of the best vegetarian Chinese menus. The General Tso chicken was breaded and nicely coated, and the Kang Pao sauce was perfectly balanced. The eggplants were a bit bland until salted, but overall the flavors were great. The service and decor were both very good. I heard rave reviews about the orange beef dish in our group, so I plan to try the vegetarian version next time. We were a group of 10 and with 10 dishes, we had plenty of leftovers.

Friendly staff. Greeted as we entered and leaving the restaurant. This is my 2nd time visiting and so far all the dishes we tried were delicious.

Dissatisfied. Terrible food. The Lo Mein was VERY salty and the General Tso's tasted so strongly of a chemical taste it was inedible. We will never order from here again. I guess that's what we get for cheating on Szechuan Mandarin in Elkins Park.
