Had dinner, linguine and pesto, pizza and roasted Calamari. Nice neighborhood of Bistro.
Huge menu, good food, inexpensive. Must go back to try other things from the menu, we have no chance to get!
TreVi remains one of my favorite restaurants in the area. They consistently put delicious, fresh food and the service is friendly and accommodating for inquiries. I'm always looking forward to a meal in Trevi!
Food: Table bread: it was fine, would recommend warming it up Fettuccini Alfredo: I love garlic love, am the person that puts 10 cloves in when a recipe calls for one. With that being said this unfortunately had a strong raw garlic flavor and you missed out in the creamy goodness that should be fettuccine Alfredo. Pasta was cooked well and it came out very hot which I appreciated. Meatballs: the gravy was delicious. The meatballs were ok. Fried calamari: spicy gravy was good. Crispy. But on the chewy side but I thought the breading was good. Lots of tentacles if that's your thing Also got a pizza the sausage and long hot one. We ended up taking it to go as everything sort of came randomly as they were busy, but we appreciated eating when things were hot and ready, My husband said the pizza was ok reheated. I would recommend making reservations as it is a very busy local place. I think if you're not Italian this food would be good. Very reasonably priced. Coming from a very Italian family this was kind of a bummer for me. If you're a wino, bring your own. The wine we bought there was not good but funny how not good it was haha. Atmosphere was great. Staff was working really hard hustling all night. Really nice people, My husband and I had fun even though the food wasn't our favorite. they were out of stuffed mushrooms and gnocchi. Their pesto smelled really good but we didn't get to try it unfortunately. Also they don't make their own pasta.
