Steak 'n Shake - Glenview

This place used to be so good, fresh and nice atmosphere. I used to get a side by side shake, I was told they don't have it anymore on their menu. There is No customer service anymore there. Everything is automatic ano customer service. You order from a kiosk, a person calls your number when your order is done, where you have to go pick up. The inside of the restaurant was filthy, all tables were not clean and stuff all over the place. Needless to say I will NOT BE BACK!!!

Standard burger fare. Good price point. Love their generous portion of thin fries.

Myself, my wife and my son who is 8 years old went to this specific steak and shake location because we were in the area. We had visited the Christmas light show across the street. We have not been in a steak 'n shake in quite a long time. The ordering process was simple with the touch screen. When the food came out it was hot. However, the restaurant itself was not maintained or clean by any of the people working there. The bathrooms needed attention. The staff overall were kind, however, when I ordered a juice for my son it was not refrigerated. They did offer to replace juice, however I declined. All said and done, we will not be needing to come back to the area, so we will not be going back to this particular location.

Restaurant has changed from full service to self service. They have lost atmosphere.

So sad, no one to work and you have to change your Menu. Just came back to try you guys out, it's a shame that Chili Mac is ruined, Hardly any meat even though I got double meat hardly any sauce and just a 1/2 pound of spaghetti noodles and no parmesan cheese instead they put some shredded c on it. still got the best banana ice cream in town but I won't be eating your food anymore
