We love Happs! It’s close to our home and has a fun atmosphere, great live music, good food and excellent service. A wonderful place to go for a relaxed evening

Happ's Place is just down the road from our 2nd home in Glenville, NC. We love having someplace close while we're in town to grab a bite to eat and enjoy a friendly game of cornhole while listening to live music. We also love to take our guests here for the same reasons. The back porch is our favorite, with the bar, bandstand, putting course, cornhole and outside sitting area. In the winter, they have a big ole fire in the fireplace.

The wait staff was having a meeting when we arrived. We asked for a table and they explained that we would have to sit at the bar because we didn't have a reservation. The bartender was great and asked the hostess if there were any tables available when the meeting ended. She was able to accommodate us. Emma was our server and did an amazing job! Very attentive and pleasant. My wife had a veggie pizza, and I had the filet. Both were excellent! We normally didn't do dessert, but didn't want to pass up on homemade blueberry pie. It didn't disappoint us. We missed out on a good Brandy Old Fashioned (it had been used for cooking), and whiskey just isn't the same.

Such a great place. Late lunch best burger around. Very pleasant atmosphere and super friendly service.
