Uncle Pizza - Glenwood Springs

I took a chance and ordered a custom pizza with veggie toppings, without egg in the dough. The crust was absolutely delicious! I originally ordered marinara sauce but switched to white sauce after seeing a recommendation from another customer. Luckily, the staff caught my mistake before making the pizza with real cheese in the marinara. The service could have been a bit more attentive, but overall, I enjoyed the unique and tasty pizza.

We had a great experience at the restaurant. The man who took our order was helpful and informed us that the Marinara sauce contained cheese when I asked for vegan cheese on our pizza. Instead, we opted for the white garlic sauce, which was delicious. I only learned later from other reviews that the crust may contain eggs, which I hope is not the case. It would be disappointing if the staff knew this information but did not mention it, even though they were sincere about the Marinara sauce.

That was the best vegan pizza we ever had! The crust was so good. Ask for the white sauce because it is their only vegan sauce and the vegan cheese. They put a lot of punches on it and just cooked it right. The custom salad with large and full vegetables.

I visited the restaurant and inquired about vegan options. I was informed that the pizza crust contained egg, but was told that we might be able to choose the gluten-free crust instead. However, the server couldn't provide information on the ingredients of the gluten-free crust, mentioning only that it was made with rice or something similar. He then brought one over to show us, holding it in his bare hands. We decided not to inquire further about veganizing other menu items and ultimately chose to dine elsewhere.
