Bodega is one of our favorite Sunday spots for wine in the area! First of all the wine is delicious and the staff is always super helpful. We also love their food options. The boards and small plates are delicious and you really get a lot of bang for your buck. The environment is beautiful with the fields, the water, the covered patio (with shade) and the deck overlooking the fields. Such a hidden gem right outside of town.
As a dog mom, my favorite part about this winery is the adorable winery dog who loves to play fetch. Of course, the rest of the winery is great too! It was a bit chilly for my California blood on a mid-October day but we still enjoyed sitting on the patio overlooking the pond. In addition to the wine tasting, we decided to get the cheese board as a snack. It came with three types of cheese (thankfully all mild and no stinky, just the way I like it! , sliced baguette, olive oil, grapes, almonds, dried apricots and dark chocolate pieces for just $15. There's also an option that includes meat for $20. I enjoyed all of the white wines and sangria.
We always have a wonderful time at Bodega. Wines are great but this time they were out of a good amount of their wines. We really enjoyed the different appetizers and all of the wines. They do have beer for people that do not enjoy wine. We had a great time listening to Bill Sammon and enjoyed the Funday Sunday!
Beautiful place..good wine. Nice place to go and sip wine enjoying scenery.
