Strandcaféen - Glesborg

Very tasty and well cooked food. Sweet and friendly service.

My clear recommendation is to keep you away. The food is quite okay, but service is not existing. The first time we entered and ordered a little food and wine, as well as a small beer just to start with, while we waited for the food. The beer was not particularly fast, on the contrary it came together with the wine after quite a long time. My wine glass was dirty, so I asked them nicely about a new one. After a long time there came a glass that was also dirty. After a little time, the food came and I could finally get hold of a servant to get exchanged the glass for a clean glass. I had to wait as long as I had almost eaten before a clean glass finally came. So I didn't enjoy the wine for the food. Fortunately, the food was fine and we thought we could order a dessert when they were welcoming. So far we never came when we after laaaang wait, chose to go up to the checkout to pay. For regardless of whether weed or said something, the waiters sense nothing. So we went away fairly satisfied with the food, but really unsatisfied with service.After some days, we tried to give them a chance, with the idea that it was just a bad day for the service staff. It ended up we went before we could get service. There were no guests so they were not busy. The servant just looked at us to take the phone forward and glo in it. We waited a couple of minutes, but no nothing, nor when the chef / manager came past, he also just looked at us and pounding one. So we chose to go, because we did not waste time. The service is abhorrently bath. Food is fine.Could go two details as in the Danish paragraph, but if you can live with alot of wait, dirty glasses and bath service in general, then go ahead. The restaurant is in no way worth a visit, unfortunately... The place is old, worn and needs a loving hand where you look. At the same time, the quality of the food is unfortunately not good enough, to save the place: The level of the food is under what you could expect on a medium-sized barbecue bar, while the price is 3 doubles. We were allowed to send our food back, as it was more or less unequal (pommes saute with a strange bees of taste that had lived in a freezer for years, and a choppy made of rubber) : and despite unequal food, we still had to pay full price... The staff were really sweet and our beer, was cold and lovely, giving them 2 stars instead of 1I give more or less never a bad review on Google Reviews... But this is close to the poorest restaurant experience I have had.

It was a bad food experience, too much pepper on everything, tzatziki inequal, sur operation. We will not come again.

Was past Glesborg , where we visited the Strandcafe, had places in their doors garden terrace it was a really a neglected experience , got denots which were cut and marinated perfect . Service was top class.
