Confession time: I usually eat the same thing every time I go to East Side's the Amatriciana. For about the last 20 years. Sad, I know.Well, the moon must have been high yesterday, because I went with something new Pesto and Peppers with Spaghettini and GOAT CHEESE.(I love goat cheese so much, I'd smear it in my hair. YUM. This dish was definitely worth the visit, and I think I have found a new fave!!!Check me out trying new things! It's a big day. :
Go for the soup and bread!. When I go to East Side Mario's it is for the all you can eat soup/salad and bread. It's soooo good! I found it sad though that you need to buy a pricey bland pasta dish to have it. However, the waitress informed me that they sell the all you can eat at lunch and that I can just buy an appetizer and have the AYCE for a couple bucks. Great service!!
Gotta say after the menu revamp, it's not all that bad. A little pricey for what you get.
Kind of embarassed to admit it.... I am in love with the unlimited salad and bread. That's it!When I feel like eating piles of Italian salad with grated fake parma cheese, and warm greesy garlic bread... I head straight to my local East Side Mario! The food is okay, nothing spectacular. The cocktails are good, and the daily cocktail specials are fun too.I honestly go for the salad. I should just buy the dressing really, and make it at home :S
