Contribuisci feedbackThe food at this restaurant was tasty and offered good value for the price. However, I had to wait for 2 hours for my food and the owner was confrontational over the phone when I called twice to inquire about the status of my order. There seemed to be a language barrier that caused some miscommunication. Despite this, I am willing to give this restaurant another chance in the future.
For many years, City Indian takeaways in Gloucester have been known for their exceptional taste and lean chicken. However, in recent months, the quality has noticeably declined. The chicken has become chewy and tough to cut through, and it lacks the rich flavor it once had. It's unfortunate to see our favorite takeout spot fall in quality like this.
I visited this restaurant a few days ago for takeout. I ordered a korma, sag paneer starter, rice, and poppadoms for 10.50. This is definitely the best Indian restaurant in Gloucester. My only complaint is that the estimated wait time was 35 minutes, but I ended up waiting for an hour in total.
Always piping hot, fresh tasty food in huge portions at great value for money. I love curry and have tried most in glos... this my fave.
