Friendly staff who were all smiling. Can’t go wrong with a pasty which was boiling hot and a chocolate croisant for afters
Perfect Pit Stop! Whether you're a local or just passing through. The cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and great coffee make it the ideal spot to recharge and refuel. Along with their very large pasties it was great.
The Cornish Bakery offers a nice alternative to the sandwiches and paninis that you get at other high street coffee shops in the area. There are traditional Cornish pasties, standard alternatives like bacon, leek and cheese, and newer twists like the vegan cauliflower and onion bhaji pasty. This is alongside a range of cakes and sweets pastries that always look tantalising. The Cornish Bakery is my go-to when I want a hot lunch to eat on the go; service is always quick, the pasties are always hot, and they always hit the spot.
We popped in here for a quick snack after shopping in Gloucester Quays. Our order was a chicken and bacon toastie, a cheese and onion pasty, a lemonade, can of cola, pot of tea, 2 croissants and 2 tiny pastel de nata. The food was pleasant enough but at £33 I feel it represents poor value for money.
