The Regal - Gloucester

My grandson wanted a cooked breakfast, so we went to the rain, had a good breakfast both enjoyed it.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I noticed a sign at the bar stating that we could order from our table using an app. The app was user-friendly, and I was able to place an order for my daughter and myself without any issues. She customized her burger to have no salad, with extra bacon and cheese, while I opted for halloumi fries to go with my burger. Payment was also made easily through the app. It took about 10 minutes for our drinks to arrive, which wasn’t bad considering how busy the place was. Our food came out shortly after, and it looked fantastic! I was pleasantly surprised to find that my burger came with onion rings, and both the chips and burgers were piping hot. To my delight, my burger still had some salad on it, which I appreciated! However, there were no sauces offered, and I couldn’t spot any ketchup bottles around the room, which was a bit disappointing. Even without the usual condiments, the meal was still impressive, earning a solid 9/10. I would definitely return!

This restaurant is fantastic if you're looking for an exciting dining experience. It was bustling with people, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. The drinks were affordable, and the burgers were not only delicious but also reasonably priced. The place was clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Most importantly, even though it was busy, our food arrived quickly and was cooked to perfection. I will definitely return!

The three ales available were in great condition, and the table service was as quick as always.
