Contribuisci feedbackI messaged on Facebook on the 12th of February to book at table for the 13th (pancake day as I assumed that they may get busy). They were very helpful and booked me a table no problem which was there ready for us when we arrived with my name on a reserved note on the table. The staff seemed very friendly and greeted us with a smile. There is lots of choice on the menu however I did query about a kids menu that I saw online but wasn 't advertised in the cafe. I was informed that they offer a smaller portion for children starting from £5 for a plain pancake then you 'd have to add your toppings for an extra price. There were no kids choices as such. We ordered a couple of milkshakes banana and biscoff which were very tasty at £5 each. We ordered a savery pancake with 2 skinny Sausages, 2 streaky bacon and added an egg for an extra £1 which cost £10.95. We also ordered a pancake day special s 'mores crepe which described as having gooey marshmallows inside, biscuit crumbs and chocolate sauce and cost £9.95, however when this arrived there was no sight of marshmallows so had to double check I had the correct order, they confirmed it was and when I questioned about the gooey marshmallows I was told they are inside and that 's all I was told! If there were marshmallows then it was an extremely small amount as I couldn 't see any! So thought that this was totally over priced! My 2 year old had a child 's pancake with cut up strawberries which cost £6. The pancakes didn 't taste anything special and I could have bought the same ones from the shop. Unfortunately this was a very disappointing first visit and our total bill cost £37 which is extremely overpriced for what we received. Unfortunately we won 't be returning as there are much better dessert cafes in the area.
Lots of variety to choose from. Excellent gluten free options. A friend and I visited and throughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Staff knowledgeable and super friendly. Would recommend and visit again.
We went in on a whim to try it, and two of us ordered pancake stacks with maple syrup; I had cream on mine. These were not pancakes like I make them myself thin and crispy at the edges: these were thick, doughy and stodgy. The cream was squirty cream out of a can which vanished as soon as it hit the warm pancake. The service was pleasant, but the place was noisy with frequent loud thumping sounds, and the tables were sticky. It wasn't a very pleasant experience and I won't be going there again.
What an exceptional experience we had. We were celebrating the end of our sons treatment and the team opened especially for us to allow him to celebrate with pancakes which is all he wanted. The service was brilliant and food was amazing! Coffee was fabulous. I cannot rate this place highly enough. We had a party of 34 with kids ranging from 3+ and the whole experience was relaxed and welcoming.
Thought we would try brunch here two adults one child . Can't comment on the food as the service was very unprofessional and we decided to leave . Asked to be seated and was straight away restaurant was busy but far from full one server but about 3 others working behind the counter . Initially great sat menus given drinks ordered after about 10 mins drinks arrived but server dashed off no order taken about 15 to 20 mins later she came back to take the order and by know the restaurant had thinned out of customers . Takes order then after yet another 10 mins comes back to say they couldn't supply my daughters order a small stack of cinnamon pancakes from there menu at this point we knew our orders had not even been started so guessing at least another 20 mins for food at wich point we decided to ask for our drinks bill paid and left . Won't be going back
