Sunset Bar Grill - Godfrey

Me and a group of 4 friends stopped in weather was beautiful so we sat outside at picnic table. They allowed the dog to come up as long as she was leashed. Upon ordering our drinks she brought out lg bowl of water for dog. (Huge brownie points) Although our food took a minute to arrive no one had any complaints. (Not even the dog, who also had a $6 burger) Food was very good. Slot machines did not pay out. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Definitely reccomend this place for a good lunch.

Lovely neighborhood spot. It was a bit quiet on a Saturday afternoon, but they had delicious popcorn that paired perfectly with a Blue Moon beer. The bartender was friendly and mentioned that their wings are a popular menu item.

I usually stick to burgers, but my friend insisted I try the wings at this restaurant for the first time. And let me tell you, they were amazing! These hot wings are by far the best I've ever had. They are so flavorful that it almost feels like a crime to dip them in ranch or bleu cheese. The bartender Gevon is also fantastic! I highly recommend this place. Oh, and did I mention they serve drinks in frosted cups for added style?

We started with appetizers and drinks. The drinks were enjoyable. The food took a bit long to come out, but it wasn't a problem since we weren't in a rush. The wings were delicious. It would have been nice if they had chili for the fries, but they were out. The bartender was friendly.

The best wings! They have 2 flavors. Original (picture) and garlic!! Yum!
