This place was a huge disappointment, especially as we had been told it was the place to go if you were looking for something tasty in a hurry! The restaurant was busy though far from full when we arrived. We were told our food could...take up to 40 minutes. As things turned out we did not eat until well over an hour after sitting down. None of the food we ordered warranted this a kind of vegetable gratin, Schlesisches Himmelreich (a medallion of pork cooked in a plum sauce and served with potato dumplings) and two plates of pasta and tomato sauce for the kids. Most mysteriously of all, after waiting an hour and 10 minutes for the first plate of pasta to arrive, the second took a further 10 minutes it was pretty awful too, a kind of thin, drippy tomato soup, with over cooked pasta swimming in it. The other dishes were good, particularly the Schlesisches Himmelreich, which was delicious, but the ridiculous wait was what we will mostly remember of this visit. The restaurant was also extremely hot, which also contributed to a not very pleasant dining experience. I don’t like to be so negative but, really, this place could be so much better. I should say that the service was friendly and helpful, just very, very slow..
