And each Jalebi is around 250gm. You can even have it in the dining area which is on first floor of the shop. Their samosa is also really nice, you can easily feel the crispness. There are lot of variety of sweet dishes are also available. But the best and most items are Jalebi and Samosa. One should try it once in a life. A taste for life time. The staff and owner is really nice of this shop, they support you and very kind and helpful. There are lot of parking spots available in front of the shop.
Many more other shops of same name opened here, but I think this is the original one. Jalebis are quite large of approx 250 gram and is Signature style of Lala Maturam Halwai. They also make packages for long distances also. My relatives loved its texture very much.
This shop near the old grain market claims to be the oldest on the tradition of Lala Maturam giant size jalebis . Original or not , the jalebis are quite good and filling. The rabri over this makes the taste awesome and actually quite heavy. One piece of jalebi is enough for lunch time meals. This pace do offer sitting and take away thing. One needs to be careful while eating at the shop as the juice/chashni is dripping all over !
What a place. All the sweets are so amazing. Very hard to find a match for some of their delicacies. My favourite is the big jalebi weighs nearly 250 gms a piece. Very old and popular place. Must visit.
If you are in Gohana or passing by, must try these unique Jalebs (not Jalebi as each pc is of 250gms, so just 4pcs in a KG). Authentic old shop is inside town, not much hassle. But worth it. Served with topping of rabri, a must to taste atleast once.
