They were very helpful when I asked about searching for agates on the local beaches. This is really the perfect location for several activity in the areas. Not too far from the Gold Beach Harbor and several restaurants. Apparently it was a Pkwy Salmon And season, because there were enough boats in the mouth of the river that you could probably walk across them and not touch water. And from the looks of it, they had some pretty successful time on the water. It’s just a short walk down the pathway from the RV park under the 101 bridge and right onto the beach. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer.
Park was clean. Staff was great and friendly. We had hot tub site 97b. Hot tub clean and nice. Ran at 105 deg. Site was clean and maintained. Bathrooms and showers were immaculate. Will stay again.
We didn't make the visit. Had to cancel due to truck issue. Called 13 days ahead of reservation to cancel and was told that our options were to apply the deposit to a new reservation or get a 1 year certificate to have it applied to next reservation. They do tell you this when you make your reservation. I live in and rarely visit Oregon. Gotta tell you, it's a rip off.
Had a good stay with the best things being the Mexican Restaurant on site Arch Rock Brewery and the Hunter's Creek Tavern nearby for good food, beverages and entertainment. Proximity to the beach and Hunters Creek was great too. RV park had good facilities, but park was dusty, and the restrooms were not maintained as well as we expected for price.
We stayed at turtle rock for6 days. We had such a wonderful time, the staff and the manager We're incredibly helpful. You can't beat the accommodations at Turtle Rock. We definitely will come back again! It is so nice to walk to the beach from your campsite.
