I should have listened to Yelp! Normally when I see a place with a lot of cars in the parking lot, that 's a good sign. For this place, not so much. If you like a place where you can start drinking around 10:00 in the morning with the locals, you 'll like this place (not judging, just saying. Me likes me my cocktail too at an appropriate time of the day). We stopped in around 1:30 pm and the 8 or so people already there were all at the bar and pretty much **** faced. We sat at a table and ordered a couple burgers. They were about as basic of a burger as a burger can be. Fries were good but portions were small. Total came to just over $21 so, it was pretty much a 'gouge the tourist the one time their dumb enough to stop here ' place. As much as I want to support local independent places, my recommendation if you just want to fill a void in your gut is to go to the Jack In The Box or Carl 's Jr a couple of the exits to the west. You 'll get a much better burger for a much better price and that alone should tell you about the burgers at this place.
Pizza was not so good, hamburger was pretty blah, the servers we're trying but were not organized and didn't really seem to have their own areas to work in, or didn't care. I think if your not hungry and your patient and want to watch a game without being hit up to buy more drinks all the time, then this is your place. I returned a second time and I bought one $3.00 beer, tossed out a ten and said keep the change. You'd think they would have been back to check on me, not that that's a lot of money, but .... The seating is okay and there are a lot of TV's. Some of them are pretty old or out dated, so I'd say pass on a third try.
Pizza is great. The curds are good too. And being from Wisconsin, the curds won me over. But the rest of the menu, not so great. Decor needs major help but not a bad place.
Now under new ownership and rebranded as Wahoo's, the new owners have done an excellent job of revitalizing the restaurant. It has a fresh new look and a welcoming atmosphere. The broasted wings and pizza are still fantastic, and the rest of the menu is quite good as well. I’ve tried the fish and chips and the Philly sandwich, both of which were delicious. We’ve also enjoyed the live music on weekends. Keep up the fresh ideas!
