The Peacock Inn Chinese Broadbeach

This restaurant is amazing. I went there for dinner with friends and we all agreed that the food was perfect. I especially enjoyed the Peking duck and sizzling beef. The dishes were hot and fresh. In my opinion, it is the top Chinese restaurant on the Coast. We will definitely be returning.

The restaurant offers fantastic food at a great value. The service was outstanding, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The spring rolls were crispy and fresh, while the crispy beef, Szechuan chicken, and garlic sauce vegetables were all delicious. I will definitely be coming back again.

So glad we decided to ignore the bad reviews on this site and order from them anyway. Everything was beautiful, the honey chicken was especially tasty and not heavily battered and greasy like some places. Would definitely order again if back on the Gold Coast. Don't let what others have said put you off, this place has made our top 5 best chinese places we have tried!

I recently enjoyed a meal at The Peacock, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. I'm glad I didn't read any reviews beforehand, as I may not have gone otherwise. While it may not be the most exceptional restaurant out there, it is a good choice for a family dinner. The decor is pleasant, and we tried the steamed duck with crabmeat and barbecue pork in special sauce, both of which were delicious. We also opted for the sweet and sour pork, which was light, naturally colored, not greasy, and tasty. The waitstaff were friendly and accommodating towards my children. The food arrived quickly, although the large special fried rice was a bit smaller than expected. Despite this minor hiccup, I would still recommend The Peacock to families looking for a decent dining option.
