We asked to sit inside in booking and they isat us one of those awful corner tables where a couple sits at 90 ° .. we don't like that there was no alternative, so we rearranged the furniture af that table! The server came immediately (it was early and we had menus and water in minutes. The tap water was room temperature (are they having a lend?? so we asked for ice and made our own ice water! We ordered the lamb tajine to share to start followed by a chicken shoofta pizza. The lamb tajine is to die for, a large shank falling from the bone with lots of middle eastern accompaniments. The chicken shoofta pizza on the other hand was to die from. Odd base like a dried pitta, no noticeable chicken and covered in some sort of irridescent green goo. Just awful. Leave pizza to the Italians! We took our own wine, excellent choice!. We like their dips however the portions are both small and ridiculously expensive, $16 for a thimble full. ?. no thank you. Bill $71 which I suppose is about par for two dishes in these inflated times. We might go back.
Great tasting food cooked fresh and with beautiful flavours.
Overall it was a nice experience with lovely food. Helpful friendly staff menu was plentiful. It was my 1st visit with friends (7 people) I'll be back with my family

We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Taboon, servings were large and customer service was outstanding. We even received table service which isn’t normally. Will definitely go back and recommend to others.
