Citrique @ Surfers Paradise Marriott

Was very disappointed at the breakfast buffet for a 5-star hotel and $50. Toasters took age (you didn't even work, but no sign this indicated) until the toast was cooked breakfast was cold. Had to ask what the situation was with coffee. Our empty plates of grain and different courses stayed on the table until they were ready to go. Should not happen in this kind of restaurant. Felt food quality was not standard. Swim in water.

The breakfast buffet and the seafood buffets are tasty as well as the service perfectly, but the highlight of the food in Citrique was our a la carte meal, which we had hesitant because dinner was not offered on Monday. It was perhaps the best meal we ever had. Everything was so beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Very recommended

The staff is very good, but the manager must deliver his products that he better serves. Meal felt as if they had bought a lot of frozen food and for the price the quality was not there

Very expensive for very average food. Service was good, but the food was poor quality. Not a lot of variety s d definitely not impressive. We've had better buffets at the local pub. Definitely not worth the money.
