Xin Jiang Restaurant - Gold Coast

One of the pleasures of travel is to enjoy the cuisine of the area you are in. If you are on the Gold Coast and can't travel, you can experience the taste sensations of north-western traditional Chinese by dining here. This restaurant is located in Davenport Street in he heart of Gold Coast's Chinatown. You won't find a lot of these dishes in your average Chinese restaurant. If you're not sure what to order, the owner will happily help you. We had sesame chicken, salt and pepper lamb, beef noodle soup, lamb kebabs and meat bread to share between four people. Each dish had lots of flavour, spices and generous quantities of meat. This is not your usual gluggy bland Australian-style Chinese restaurant fare. It is a little more expensive, but you do get a generous serve of food.

Enjoyed the Halal Chinese cuisine at Gold Coast Chinatown. Food tasted good, and was cooked to savor our taste buds. We requested for mildly flavored food. The fried rice and noodles were quite oily. Health conscious patrons should request for less oil and salt. The food servings or portion are quite large. Dishes are reasonably priced. They are open for lunch and dinner, and close by 9pm.

Been here twice for lunch, and also had a take away, all excellent food, each time, and our daugher and grandchildren loved it, the food is so tasty, the servings so generous, and the cost just OK, not expensive, but so much worth the money we paid, Strongly recommend the lemon chicken and the beef dishes, and the menu has so many dishes that are never found in other chinese restaurants, so have to ask the waiter what they are, and all are just so delicious

Amazing food, very very very nice and helpful people. This was our first experience, and we could definitely recommend it. We shared plates, it is really big and lots of food. We had salad, noodles and spring rolls. Also liked the prune juice. We ate lots of amazing food and for a cheap price.

Silk Road. Try the Kewap food native to this Chinese region. Recommend ordering 1 less meal than you think u need. Great value for $$$$
