Cooky's Cafe - Golden City

Highly recommended. It's off the beaten path... but the pie alone is worth the trip. Check this place out! Great food service.

Delicious meal, excellent service, very nice atmosphere. This restaurant does not disappoint they have been in business for many, many years.

I did not try any of the many pies they had available but many of the patrons that were there told me I was making a big mistake not trying them. Evidently they are known for their pies. Maybe next time I will go for dessert only.

I haven't eaten at Cooky's Cafe in several years. When my family was still alive they lived in Pittsburg, Kansas, Liberal, Missouri, and Lamar, Missouri. All of my family has now passed away so I don't get down to that part of the country anymore. I live in Wichita, Kansas and it's hard to find down home cooking like Cooky's Cafe in a city this big. Every time I ate at Cooky's Cafe the food was fabulous, the service was awesome and the atmosphere was fantastic. I always enjoyed eating there. I strongly recommend eating at Cooky's Cafe. Don't forget about the pies.Keep up the great work. May God bless you always!
