White shrimp season starts August 15. Go visit this place and see the boats coming in to the dock to sell their fresh shrimp. You can purchase all your shrimp, crab, and crab patties here year round. Great fresh product!!

They serve IQF shrimp as fresh shrimp by putting them in there tubs of ice water. I don't have a problem with IQF shrimp but I don't want to be lied to. I go across the street for fresh shrimp.

I called the restaurant to address the situation, and a woman with big white hair informed me that my crabs were dead and had flies on them. I had just brought back two dozen crabs from Elmer's Island that were still fresh and on ice. When I explained this, she dismissed my concerns, stating that I didn't buy them there, so it was no longer their problem, and then she hung up on me. I've been a loyal customer of the Seafood Shed since I was five years old, and I've always spent a significant amount of money there—today alone, I spent $150 on shrimp. It’s very disappointing to be treated this way, especially when I approached the situation calmly and respectfully. This isn’t how you should treat loyal customers.
