A & W Restaurant & Drive-Thru - Golden

During our visit, our friends and I were extremely impressed with the excellent service we received at this restaurant. The food arrived quickly, was hot, and tasted fresh. We had absolutely no complaints.

I parked in front of this A&W located on the main road of Trans Canada. The nearby local burger joint was closed, so I opted for chain food instead. The Teen Burger was tasty, but the Ms. Pop was flat and the Mozza Burger had an old tomato. Overall, I still prefer A&W over many other chain options in Canada. Additionally, ordering through the app allowed me to skip the line and have my food ready within 30 seconds of walking in the door.

We were in a rush and looking for a quick breakfast. The group decided to order bacon and cheese Egg Bun sandwiches, which were delicious. I went with my favorite cheese and egg sandwich, which was also very good. The coffee was excellent as well. The service was very fast and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

It was quite fast when we stopped at 3:00. Walk-ups (motor cyclist, etc. allowed in accordance with vehicles. No facilities available for travellers. Odd to enter the bag directly on the food middle pandemic. Otherwise everything was... as ordered, hot and tasty. No problems with a voucher. Extra ketchup and napkins without asking them. The hotel is located in the north (western side of the highway, but the access is also easy from the east side. Not much shadow, so we found a place on the south side at Tim Hortons to stop.

Great food great service. No problem when I ordered a lettuce wrap instead of a bun. But there where no napkins in the bag. I get it there was a condiment station and I was expected to grab my own. So they should have mentioned...it.
