Mickey's Bakery Shop - Goldsboro

I never realized how much I loved cupcakes until I had one from Mickey's Pastry Shop! I bought a dozen as a gift, and my aunt ended up with half a dozen. They were unlike anything I've ever tasted before!

I purchased a German chocolate cake to celebrate my 804th month, and I shared it with my staff. Many of them remarked on how delicious it was. I can honestly say it was the best German chocolate cake I've had in decades. It was very affordable and worth every penny! Thank you, Mickey’s!

I remember visiting this restaurant years ago and being impressed by the fresh baked goods. However, when I went back today, I found the selection to be quite limited, and many of the items seemed pre-packaged. The two items I did purchase were very dry, especially the bear claw, which used to be one of my favorites. It's disappointing, as it feels like you gain some things but lose others in the process.

I've been a customer since I was a child, and this place is amazing. They have a fantastic selection, but the standout choices are the chocolate-covered doughnuts and the pecan cakes. They also make delicious cakes. Highly recommend Mickey's!

Donuts and combs were fantastic. the cocosnus cake, while decorated and beautifully presented, was very dry and icing was extremely sweet, so sweet we could not eat more than a few bites and threw it out. the personal was friendly and offered suggestions. please offer another icing!
