Ca' Dario Cucina Italiana - Goleta

Lovely meal with attentive service and delicious food. Same great food as the other 2 locations.

I usually don't write restaurant reviews, but I decided to try the spaghetti and meatballs at this place. I was disappointed to find that the meatballs were clearly frozen beforehand, possibly from Costco or Trader Joe's. For an Italian restaurant that charges premium prices, this was a letdown. My family and I have been loyal customers of this restaurant in Santa Barbara in the past, but after this experience, we won't be returning.

For the price, go elsewhere. The staff was friendly and welcoming, but.... The aperol spritz had too much aperol. The service was slow, and it was a Sunday night. Got our extra parmesan after we had finished half of the food. Had to ask for water refills. My pennette pasta was tough I doubt it was homemade). It came with salmon which was very sparse and was supposed to have dill in it, which I could not taste. But it was overflowing with sauce! For $26 for pasta I expected more than something I could get at Presto Pasta. The other diners in my party that ordered the pizza said it was good. So...go for the pizza or don't go at all. :

I always enjoy Cà Dario, but I would like to see more veal dishes on the menu. I would love to see more options like scallopini or piccata, instead of just loin. Thank you.
