Costco - Goleta

Prices r really going up, Kirkland Brand DeCaf coffee went from 9.99 to 14.99!! It goes up every month! Seems excessive being a Kirkland Bra d has gone up more than Premium Brands..I have asked for years to get a variety of DeCaf coffees...since they removed Seattle's Best which had DeCaf..nada..

Great Cosco! I'm used to shopping at one that is so crowded you can't move your cart! Very spacious. I recommend!

The Goleta Costco is a typical big box warehouse. They have an outdoor food court where you can get $1.50 hotdogs, as well as a tire center, but there is no gas station. The store offers a wide variety of goods and services, and the prices are quite good. Seasonal items are prominently displayed near the front entrance. You can find an excellent selection of wines and liquors at very reasonable prices. Their in-house bakery features a large assortment of breads, pies, and pastries, so if you see something you like, grab it because it might not be there the next time you visit. And, of course, they sell the well-known Costco cooked whole chicken.

I've been calling around to various places like CVS and Rite Aid, trying to find somewhere that offers passport photos, specifically for UK passport size. First and foremost, Costco answered my call right away with a friendly and helpful representative. The other places I contacted had complicated phone systems, and when I finally reached someone, they often didn’t know if they provided passport photos and had to check. The only exception was the CVS on Carrillo, which took my photo, albeit reluctantly, but unfortunately, it's the wrong size. Thank goodness for Costco!

However, there's an update: on the order form, they now have a graduation design option where you can choose school colors. It features a mortarboard and has plenty of space for a personalized message. This was exactly what we needed for a recent celebration, and it turned out really well. Based on this experience, I've increased my rating from three stars to four. On the positive side, the turnaround time is impressive; they only require a day to prepare a large cake with customized writing. The cake itself is good quality, though not on par with high-end bakeries—but then again, neither are the prices.
