Contribuisci feedbackWe decided to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary here on a whim, and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The food was excellent. The complimentary bread was fresh, soft, and had the perfect chewy crust. We ordered the lamb chop plate, which came with red chard and polenta, as well as the mango curry chicken with rice. Both dishes were incredibly tasty. To top it all off, we enjoyed their delightful signature coconut chiffon cake. We will definitely return!
The staff is incredibly friendly and the outdoor seating is excellent. There's a diverse selection of food, and everything I've tried has been fantastic. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5 for my lunch experience.
I had a wonderful birthday lunch at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 14. Our server, Franny, was incredibly friendly and attentive, even when our friends arrived 15 minutes late. I've been raving about her fantastic service all week. Both the hostess and Franny took the time to wish me a Happy Birthday as we were seated and when we left, which was a lovely touch. As always, the coconut cake that the three of us shared was moist and delicious. Another friend enjoyed the crème brûlée. The staff truly made us feel special.
Wow! The filet mignon was incredible—definitely the best we've ever tasted. It surpassed even Ruth's Chris, Chart House, and all the other steakhouses we've tried. Unlike most steakhouses in Southern California, it came with two vegetable sides, offering a complete meal with both veggies and potatoes. This made it one of the best values around here!
We went to Jane in Goleta a couple of weeks ago and really loved the whole experience so we decided we were going to make it a regular date for dinner. Well, we went tonight and had a completely different experience. The food was as good as before but the service was so bad it overwhelmed the good food. I mean, what's the point of good food if the attitude of the staff is going to make it stick in your throat? The wait staff are either overworked or undertrained and the hostess had an attitude that I have never seen before in a high end dinner house, literally rolling her eyes at anybody who requested anything of her. We spent more than $100. for a dinner here but will not again.
