M Special Brewing Company - Goleta

I loved the blonde ale and the ambiance of the restaurant! I will definitely return.

The atmosphere was very relaxed and it wasn't as crowded as downtown Santa Barbara.

My friends and I visited M Special for a fun night out during the week. The outdoor seating area was charming, with plenty of heaters and a rotating food truck. However, we found the ambiance a bit lacking as there was no music playing. The beer selection was reasonably priced at around $7 each, and we tried a variety of options including Farmhouse Saison, Great Land, G Town, Doubba Bubba (our favorite), and Lazy Eye. We had no complaints about the beers or the service at M Special. The food truck, Disfrutas, was run by a very pleasant woman who recommended the Asada, which was too spicy for some of us (even those who enjoy spicy food). The pastor was also very spicy. We felt that adding sour cream, cheese, or avocado could have helped to balance out the heat. The burrito was a good size and enjoyed more than the quesadillas. The chips were fresh, but quite oily - however, they were still delicious.

Chill place but popular. Can imagine indoor seating to fill quickly close to peak times. Food truck not there today… had to suffer with pizza ?

Best brewery ever. Beautifully brewed beer with the nicest bartenders around. John is super Knowledge and friendly and holds that place down like a rock. All the fun trivia nights and food trucks definitely make it a family friendly event. 10 out of 10 would recommend
