The service was great; although it took a little while for our waters to arrive and for us to place our order, we didn't mind. The atmosphere and music were lovely, and we never felt rushed. I visited on a Monday around 8:30 PM.
This vibrant local restaurant chain offers fresh sushi and a diverse selection of Japanese dishes in a spacious and tastefully decorated setting. We visited for lunch and started with spicy edamame and miso soup, followed by the 'Crazy Boy' and 'Monkey' sushi rolls. The edamame was cooked to perfection, and the soup was equally delightful. The sushi was exquisite, with each roll showcasing a delicate and flavorful combination. This has become our favorite Japanese restaurant in all of Santa Barbara County.
The sushi here is excellent, and the atmosphere is quite comfortable. However, the only downside is that we always feel rushed during our visits. It’s difficult to fully explore the menu options when someone approaches our table almost immediately to take our order. Everything feels hurried—from the service to the food and even the payment process. The downtown location has a much more relaxed vibe.
Sushi Teri is always great. Don't like that different locations have different menus but that's my only complaint. They will make anything vegetarian or vegan for you. Great spot.
Among the best food experiences I've had in the US. Nice environment and fantastic food for a reasonable price. I'm actually thinking I should probably reevaluate the other restaurants that got 5 stars from me, as this one sets a new benchmark. Thumbs up!
