China Star - Gonzales

I love this place!! Food is excellent! The people are very friendly!! That's where I get my Chinese food from!

It was amazing as much as most people think it's a really run down place it's actually, really good food. The service is great. The only complaint is the environment because it not fancy or at least like McDonald's but if you like food that tastes great. While not looking like a nice place the food is a 10 out of 10 for me.

Please ignore comments saying the food was ok or not good , it’s the BEST Chinese food in Gonzales hands down, they are also generous and hospitable.

The fried rice is very bland and I would not recommend it as an entree. The eggrolls and pu-pu platter are only so-so. But the entrees are hot, delicious, and their Mandarin chicken sauce is perfect. Some of the dishes could use a tad more seasoning. Generous portions and priced right. Service is usually quick and the counter lady is very friendly.
