Unbelievable little find! Super friends and fantastic food, the sour dough pancakes are a must try!!

My husband and I were lucky enough to stumble into The Goochland Restaurant this morning. Living in goochland my whole life, I had always been a Satterwhite’s girlie, but I may have found my new fave. Christine is the sweetest soul who only wants to put goodness into the bellies of our community. Between the sourdough bread samples, the homemade sourdough pancakes and biscuits, and homemade fruits compotes, not only does the food taste heavenly, I feel even better having eaten it. Please do yourself a favor and stop in and sit a spell and try whatever Christine recommends. Everything is delicious and she will brighten your day!

My husband and I enjoyed some good breakfasts here yesterday. We both got the breakfast bowls with bacon. Wow that bacon is so delicious! I also asked if they could add fried onions to my bowl. They said yes, with a smile. It really added flavor to my bowl and I would add that to my bowl next time. In the past, I have enjoyed having fried onions added to my breakfast potatoes. I really love their breakfast potatoes!! So good.

The food has been great each time I've been in but the Sourdough Pancakes are just amazing! The service was wonderful ..makes you feel like home.
