Le Bois Cheri - Goodlands

This restaurant exceeded all my expectations! The food was delicious, and the drinks were equally impressive. We chose to have our lunch here as part of the three-step tea experience, and it was the best decision we could have made. The fish was incredible, and the desserts were absolutely to die for!

However, I wasn't a fan of the smoke from the pizzeria's oven inside. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the food, especially the calamari appetizer! We indulged in all the local dishes, including the cerebral, seafood rougaille, and fish curry, and everything was simply delicious! The only downside was the dessert; the bananenteer was a bit too soggy, and the baba au rhum came with too much sugar. Aside from that, I had a wonderful meal and a great time, and I can't wait to return!

Beautiful scenery over the tea plantation from this original colonial house. We enjoyed tasting the various teas and bought some to bring home. The rum experience was also great, seeing the procedure from start to finish, getting to taste and chew on sugar cane, taste the different rums and then buying our favourite to tak away.
