Sam's Sports Grill Blue Turtle Bay

I absolutely love this place! The food, the people, the service, and the atmosphere are all outstanding on Old Hickory Lake! The pizza is fantastic, the burgers are delicious, and the wings are amazing. I just tried the wings for the first time, and as you can see from the picture, they were superb! The location is perfect, and you can't beat the price for such quality. The service is excellent, and the variety on the menu is impressive!

Dinner by the lake was delightful. There was a slight wait, but that was no issue thanks to happy hour and the stunning views of the lakes and boats. The fish tacos were excellent as always.

As a first-time visitor, I was really impressed with everything! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was outstanding. The view of the water while dining was absolutely gorgeous! I will definitely be returning! The fish tacos were fresh and delicious, and I also enjoyed a tasty strawberry margarita!

What could be better than enjoying a cocktail, delicious food, and a serene atmosphere? If you can, sit right by the water and let your stress drift away! The salmon appetizer is outstanding!

I am truly disappointed! The food was overpriced and underwhelming. I ordered the heirloom tomato and mozzarella salad, but it came with no basil, and the tomato definitely wasn’t an heirloom variety. I barely took a bite or two before I lost my appetite, and the waitress simply took my plate away without asking if everything was okay. They also have their waitstaff serving both indoor and outdoor tables, which makes it feel like they’re working harder, not smarter. As a result, the service was incredibly slow, spread thin across so many tables. For $150 for two adults and two kids, we could have easily dined at a steakhouse. I really wanted to enjoy this place, but unfortunately, I just can’t. This feels like a management issue rather than a problem with the waitstaff.
