Bombora Goolwa Beach - GOOLWA SOUTH

Trying to find a place which is not close in the days after Christmas is difficult, but Bombora on the River is definitely the place to be. There is nothin better having breakfast over looking the river. Food was great, staff very friendly.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch with friends. Fresh seafood offerings and a selection of cakes for dessert. The scallop entree was a highlight but we all thoroughly enjoyed our selected dishes. Fantastic service with a wonderful setting over looking the water. Worth the drive from Adelaide.

The King George Whiting restaurant was excellent. It is recommended to make a reservation in advance if you prefer an indoor table. The service was top-notch and the food was promptly served and well-presented. Upstairs can be noisy due to the wooden flooring, but downstairs is very pleasant on a nice sunny day. However, the wind can be a problem for the umbrellas.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was top-notch and reasonably priced for the generous portions. The bouillabaisse, poke bowl, and flathead were all delicious. I will definitely be returning the next time I'm back from Canberra. Thank you for a fantastic dining experience.

What a pleasant surprise when we received our Ocean Burger with chips to find that there was not a fish patty but actual grilled fish cooked to perfection. The chips were also perfection. The meal was generous and delicious and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the river view. They provided spring water. Service was prompt and very efficient.
