The tables and chairs are always clean and well-arranged. They provide reverse osmosis water for drinking. I highly recommend trying the podi dosai with sambar and coconut chutney, as well as the parotta with flavorful kuruma and pachadi. The chappathi kuruma is also quite tasty. Shri Gupta Sweets is my go-to sweet shop for tasty and hygienic South Indian food at an affordable price, making it perfect for middle-class families. A big thank you to the owners for their dedication to customer care.
This restaurant in Salem is without a doubt the best sweet shop in town. They also offer authentic chat items. The service is quick and friendly, and they have a variety of options if you want to give a box of sweets as a gift. From standard velvet boxes to premium tin boxes, they all look very elegant. The prices are reasonable for most of the products. There is plenty of parking available in the complex, even for larger vehicles.
This restaurant is the hub of Salem. With almost 3-4 branches in the city, they offer a wide variety of sweets and delicious chat items. They also serve tasty South Indian food, with their sambar being a personal favorite. The prices are reasonable and every time I visit Salem, this is the first place I go for some authentic South Indian cuisine.
Whenever I traveled Between Trichy and Bangalore I always make a point to stop at Shri Gupta sweets for proper North Indian Chats and sweets (even better than North India in terms of taste). All chat items and sweets are fresh and tasty. I got fresh Kalakand in this shop and they serve crispy Dosa as well with Sambhar full of vegetables. Its Dahi Sandwich is specialty as I never eaten sandwich in Dahi but it is very tasty. every Penny spending is worth in this shop very Reasonably priced if I compare with Bangalore
